# Earn Rewards via BTC Staking

## Connect to the wallet

1. Click on the Ecosystem column at the top of the homepage and select the **BTC MetaData Sync Protocol** button, then jump to the protocol interface。
2. Configure wallet: Click **Connect Wallet** in the upper right corner to connect your wallet to the exSat mainnet (<https://exsat.network/app/>) and agree to add the exSat mainnet to your wallet; the wallet address will be displayed after success.

3. Alternatively, you can manually add the exSat Mainnet to your wallet:

## Cross-chain access to exSat mainnet BTC

1. Go to the cross-chain bridge page <https://exsat.network/app/bridge/>
2. Confirm that the main network has been selected in the upper right corner and connect your wallet
3. Carefully check the wallet address
4. Click to generate BTC address

5. Copy the generated BTC address and transfer BTC from your BTC wallet or exchange to this address

!!! Important: Please make sure to transfer BTC on the BTC chain!!!

6. You can view the cross-chain status in "My Bridge Records" at the bottom of the page

7. Click the account icon in the upper right corner to display my account and click **Convert XBTC**, and enter the quantity you want to convert.

## Staking Process

1. Click the **Staking** button and connect your wallet
2. Click your wallet address in the upper right corner of the page, and click the **Convert XBTC** button from the drop-down menu to convert XBTC

Please make sure to keep **enough BTC** to pay the gas fees required for on-chain interactions

3. From the Validators list on the page, select a validator that matches your investment strategy and click the **Stake** button.
4. Enter the amount of XBTC you wish to stake and click "Approve and Stake"
5. After staking is completed, you can check your staking status and income in real time through the  "[My Staking](https://btcyield.io/my-staking)" page.

## Changing the staking node

1. Go to the My Staking interface and click the button as shown to change the staking status.

2. Click the **Restake** button to change the staking node.
3. &#x20;Select the original staking node.
4. Select the node you want to change.
5. Click the **Restake** button at the bottom to successfully change.
